Ever since I watch DOA, another western woman act as Ayane, I already lost my interest toward Asian-wannabe. They are just...not genuine. I bet Lucy is the best candidate to be Ayane or Chun Li. XD

Well apparently it doesn't matter if your Chinese to be a Chinese character anymore in Hollywood since they use even people who aren't even Asian in origin or better yet are a half cast.
Oh well besides my cynicism I'm actually curious with this movie and plan to try and see it.

Well she is a fourth generation Chinese... Her father is of Dutch descent and her mother is of Chinese descent, but was born in Indonesia. Her maternal grandmother was born in Jamaica of Chinese descent. Or something like that...

But I do agree that Hollywood don't really care about where their cast is coming from anymore against the characters they must play...Just like casting Zhang Ziyi for Memoirs Of A Geisha...but that's another story...

I'm still half-hearted about going to see the Legend Of Chun Li...

I'll still watch it though I have a feeling it'll turn out bad since all games to movies in the past weren't that great but it has a cute girl acting in it so I'm in, lol.

Aah...is that way everybody watch Resident Evil movies? Cos of Milla Jovovich? And Tomb Raider cos of Angelina Jolie? Now I understand...yes..yes... lol.

Actually I didn't really like the Resident Evil movies that much, they looked awesome but I would have liked it more if it stayed more to the plot of the game but that would never happen cause movie companies always like adding their own plots and so on. Tomb Raider wasn't that bad but it wasn't that good either in my opinion. I watch a movie generally if I have an interest not who's acting in it.

This movie really really really...ahem...made for kids...I was ashamed of watching it and having to put up with Gen quoting to Chun Li that she wasn't ready yet to face Bison...ahem...just like Rayden to Liu Kang, and let's see...who else... oh...so many movies... Why couldn't they just made up some interesting story to introduce us to Chun Li...
