So the oldies are striking back...

ACDC is releasing a new album too.

I dunno, bands always change more and more with each album. It's great that they do keep releasing stuff, but sometimes I just get dissapointed.

I dunno, because of that, I'm not really looking forward to the next Metallica album. Their latest one was okay, but not that great either.

I think that, generally, this is a bad trend. Most of the albums that the bands are releasing are total and utter crap, because they are trying to 'modernize' their music and appeal to the current generation. What they don't seem to understand however, is that they are popular for playing original music form their era, not for playing contemporary modern music. People just don't expect all this modern, pop-rock from these bands. They should stick to their roots, and refuse to give in to the pressures of their corporate record companies. They're selling out, and many fans are becoming ever more disappointed with them because of it.

There aren't really any bands that I can think of now that I would like to see reformed :/

Bring back ABBA! I want to hear Summernight City live!

But speaking of bringing bands back from the dead, please bring back penknifelovelife, test switch isolator, her words kill and all the other good screamo/powerpop bands that seem to have been forgotten =[

Well, I wouldn't mind the old bands coming back if they actually played music in their original style, and didn't try to be all modern and be like every other band. Stick to your roots!
